# New Breakfast-All-Day Restaurant Gets Crackin’ in Greater College Park

The campus community can soon rise and shine to hit up a new option for the most important meal of the day. Or they can sleep in, and still get their fill of candied bacon or Crab Cake Benny.

[Iron Rooster](https://www.iron-rooster.com/), known for its all-day breakfast, comfort food and hospitality, announced on Tuesday that it will open its fourth location this winter in The Hotel at the University of Maryland. Serving College Park, with its robust population of students, faculty, staff and families, is a “dream come true,” said owner and founder Kyle Algaze.

“This city deserves a taste of Maryland’s best with some of the finest hospitality and that’s exactly what we’re going to deliver,” he said.

Iron Rooster first opened in 2014 and has Annapolis, Canton and Hunt Valley locations. Diners there can dig into favorites with a Southern flair, like chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, and RoosTarts, the restaurant’s homemade take on Pop-Tarts that feature rotating flavors.
