SEE Comedy Show to Feature John Mulaney

Comedian John Mulaney will perform at the UMD annual Homecoming Comedy Show at 8 p.m. Oct. 30, Student Entertainment Events announced on Friday. For the first time, it will be hosted in Xfinity Center in partnership with the Stamp and Maryland Athletics.

Changes to UMD Wireless Networks to Begin Monday

Changes simplifying the University of Maryland’s wireless network offerings will go into effect Monday, the Division of Information Technology announced last week in an email. “Eduroam” will be the preferred wireless network for students and employees, and the “umd-secure” wireless network will no longer be available. Beginning Aug. 13, the “umd” wireless network will also no longer be available.

Enterprise Resource Planning Steering Committee Announced

Senior Vice President and Provost Mary Ann Rankin today announced the steering committee for the university’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project, a multi-year effort to revisit systems, processes and workflows at UMD that broadly impact students, faculty and staff.

Fernando Selected in NBA Draft
